PermaPel® GA series products are “surfactant free” versions that are FDA compliant with FDA 176.170 and 176.180, and produced in an extra-fine particle size for better film formation. The PermaPel® GA series is available across a broad Tg range and can be “dry fill” formulated to achieve desired properties and meet processing needs. PermaPel® GA series products are made on a water insoluble hard resin that provide non-wetting characteristics to treated substrates. Another advantage of PermaPel® GA series products is that they do not contain any added formaldehyde from raw materials used. They also show improved bond strength to nylon, fiberglass and polypropylene and have very little odor as supplied. PermaPel® SA series of products are surfactant stabilized products that are more suitable for textile, soil stabilization and other industrial applications where stable dilutions are important to optimize concentration. MCTRON also offers PermaPel® WG-84, which is wax-grafted for optimal water repellency and film formation.
