    Maxxacryl® AC-3035 is a stiff, heat-reactive carboxylated acrylic emulsion polymer that provides excellent water resistance and color stability. It is an ideal choice for pleatable textiles where firmness and hand-building is desired.

    Maxxacryl® AC-3220 is a non-yellowing soft acrylic based emulsion. It is designed for use as a high self-cross linking polymer that provides excellent fastness properties while maintaining a soft but durable hand.

    Maxxacryl® AC-3225

    Maxxacryl® AC-3225 Is a soft acrylic-based crosslinkable emulsion. It is designed for use as a soft hand finish on a variety of substrates including cellulosic, synthetic and/or blended nonwovens. It can also be used as a print binder, dimensional stabilizer, or an anti-linting agent. Additionally, it may be compounded and foamed for back coating applications.

    Maxxacryl® LP-45 is heat-reactive carboxylated general-purpose soft acrylic latex emulsion. It has use as a flock adhesive, print binder and in applications where solvent resistance, water resistance and durability are desired.

    Maxxacryl® SA-202 is a very soft, non-tacky, self cross-linking styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion with good water and solvent resistance. It is made with a co-polymerizable surfactant to eliminate re-wetting and can be formulated with a high level of filler.

    Maxxacryl® SA-292 emulsion is a formaldehyde-free, carboxylated, styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion. The emulsion films are very soft and exhibit excellent resistance to discoloration. These films are also characterized by their superior water resistance. Use this product where flexibility, water resistance, and superior aging characteristics are required.

PermaPel® Technology

MCTRON’s patented PermaPel® technology is designed to provide superior water repellency, wash durability and excellent adhesion to low-energy surfaces over traditional acrylic emulsion products. PermaPel technology involves the use of a unique specialty monomer package and can be formulated into any acrylic containing polymer.

    PermaPel SRN010 is a MCTRON patent-pending polymer that has been designed to incorporate provide wash durability to multiple washes, crock resistance, and superior adhesion to low energy substrates such as fabric, fiberglass, plastic film, foil and metals.

    PermaPel® SA-4073

    PermaPel® SA-4073 is a medium Tg styrene acrylic emulsion polymer designed to incorporate our wash-durable specialty monomer technology into a non-formaldehyde coating latex. It is a good film former and finds utility in sprayed exterior coatings where superior adhesion and water resistance is important. Applications include colored concrete sealants.

    PermaPel® 6073 emulsion is a very firm, formaldehyde-free, carboxylated, styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion. Films of this emulsion exhibit excellent resistance to discoloration and are characterized by their superior water repellency and adhesion to low energy surfaces. This polymer should be used where a firm film, water resistance, and superior aging characteristics are required.

    MaxxThix® MT-1

    MaxxThix® MT-1 is a high efficiency alkali-swellable emulsion thickener for use in emulsion polymer compounds. Applications include textile coatings, paints, mastics adhesives, back thickeners for print pastes, and viscosity modifiers for pad baths. The rheology of this product is “short” and “buttery”.

    MaxxThix® MT-2

    MaxxThix® MT-2 is an alkali-swellable emulsion thickener for use in emulsion polymer compounds. It imparts a “yield point” to coatings formulated with it. This “yield point” minimizes the settling of fillers and causes minimal penetration of coatings formulated with it. Applications include textile coatings, paints, mastics adhesives, back thickeners for print pastes, and viscosity modifiers for pad baths. The rheology of this product is “long” and “elastic”.

    MaxxThix® AT-17

    MaxxThix® AT 17 is an associative thickener, supplied as an easy-to-use alkali-swellable emulsion. It is designed for coatings with a “yield point” which flow readily under shear (such as brushing) yet which will not run (sag) when the shear is removed. Dyes thickened slightly with this product will not bleed through a paper towel. It keeps coatings on the surface of a substrate (minimal penetration).

    MaxxThix® MT-107 is a highly effective methyl-based sodium polyacrylate gum thickener for use in a multitude of compounding arenas. This product is a versatile, effective and efficient aqueous polymer solution with unique rheological properties for a host of varying applications.     MaxxLink® AZC

    MaxxLink® AZC is a formaldehyde-free crosslinker or insolubilizer for coatings based on latex or protein binders. It reacts rapidly during the process as water is removed from the coating and curing is complete. The curing is fast under alkaline conditions with no need for elevated temperatures resulting in excellent wet rub and crock properties.

    MaxxBreak® OB-4 NS Concentrate

    MaxxBreak® OB-4 NS Concentrate is a concentrated all-organic non-silicone defoamer concentrated non-silicone defoamer concentrate. It can be diluted with mineral oil with the resulting product being useful as a textile, latex or pulp type defoamer.

    MaxxBreak® OB-123 NS is an all-organic silicone free defoamer. It is stable at high temperatures and is an effective defoamer under pressure dyeing conditions. MaxxBreak OB-123 NS has good salt tolerance and does not precipitate pre metallized dyes in the presence of electrolytes.
