Denim Dyeing & Finishing
Our manufacturing and laboratory capabilities in Greenville, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina provide MCTRON’s customers with flexibility in product design and in-house fabric testing capabilities along with over 200 years of textile dyeing and finishing expertise. Many of our products shown below are designed specifically for use on denim and are manufactured to the highest quality standards.
MaxxLube® HDPE-25 is a high-density oxidized polyethylene powder that provides sewing lubricity, tear-strength protection, abrasion resistance, and sanforizing lubricity to a variety of textile fabrics when used in emulsified form.
MaxxLube® HDPE-2540 is a high-density oxidized polyethylene micro-emulsion that provides sewing lubricity, tear-strength protection, abrasion resistance, and sanforizing lubricity to a variety of textile fabrics.
Denim Garment Processing
MCTRON takes pride in it’s ability to deliver an excellent line of products for denim garment processing including, de-size, wash cycles, rinse, special effects and coating. As a basic polymer producer, we have the capability of redesigning any product if necessary to meet market demands at a reasonable cost to our customers. MaxxBloc® PB-100 is a polyester polymer designed to impart excellent anti redeposition properties on cotton and polyester/cotton blends. It is extremely effective in minimizing back staining of indigo dyes during the processing of denim fabrics.
MaxxBloc® PB-102 is a polyester polymer designed to impart excellent anti redeposition properties on cotton and polyester/cotton blends. It is extremely effective in minimizing back staining of indigo dyes during the processing of denim fabrics. It can be dispersed to low viscosities at high solids concentrations.
MaxxBloc® PB-1270 is a polyester polymer chemistry designed to impart excellent anti-redeposition properties during denim garment washing.
MaxxBloc® PB-1285 is a high-solids liquid polyester polymer designed to impart excellent anti-redeposition properties on cotton and polyester/cotton blends. MaxxBloc PB-1285 is extremely effective in minimizing back staining of indigo dyes during the processing of denim fabrics.
MaxxBloc® PBS-1285 is a polyester polymer combined with surfactant chemistry designed to impart excellent anti-redeposition properties on cotton and polyester/cotton blends.
MaxxSperse® MSX-PB-125 is an extremely effective detergent designed to clean denim. It is used for direct application in the desize, abrasion and final cleaning stage on cotton and synthetics during the processing of denim.
MaxxSperse® MSX-90 is an extremely effective, highly-concentrated wetting agent designed to minimize back staining of indigo dyes on cotton during the denim fabric processing. It is non-ionic and compatible with all classes of enzymes including amylases, cellulases and lactases, and can be used in combination with other MCTRON products to further improve performance. It can be used in the de-sizing, stone washing or final clean up steps.
MaxxSperse® MS-90 is an economical, effective, highly-concentrated wetting agent designed to minimize back staining of indigo dyes on cotton denim fabric processing. It is non-ionic and compatible with all classes of enzymes including amylases, cellulases and lactases, and can be used in combination other MCTRON products to further improve performance. It can be used in the de-sizing, stone washing or final clean up steps.
MaxxSperse® MSX-2575 is an extremely effective concentrated detergent designed to clean denim and minimize back-staining of indigo dyes on cotton during the processing of denim fabric.
Maxxacryl® AC-3112 is a soft self-crosslinking acrylic-based emulsion. It is designed for use as a soft hand finish on a variety of substrates including cellulosic, synthetic and/or blended non-wovens.
Maxxacryl® SA-292 emulsion is a formaldehyde-free, carboxylated, styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsion. The emulsion films are very soft and exhibit excellent resistance to discoloration. These films are also characterized by their superior water resistance. Use this product where flexibility, water resistance, and superior aging characteristics are required.
