    MaxxThix® MT-1

    MaxxThix® MT-1 is a high efficiency alkali-swellable emulsion thickener for use in emulsion polymer compounds. Applications include textile coatings, paints, mastics adhesives, back thickeners for print pastes, and viscosity modifiers for pad baths. The rheology of this product is “short” and “buttery”.

    MaxxThix® MT-2

    MaxxThix® MT-2 is an alkali-swellable emulsion thickener for use in emulsion polymer compounds. It imparts a “yield point” to coatings formulated with it. This “yield point” minimizes the settling of fillers and causes minimal penetration of coatings formulated with it. Applications include textile coatings, paints, mastics adhesives, back thickeners for print pastes, and viscosity modifiers for pad baths. The rheology of this product is “long” and “elastic”.

    MaxxThix® AT-17

    MaxxThix® AT 17 is an associative thickener, supplied as an easy-to-use alkali-swellable emulsion. It is designed for coatings with a “yield point” which flow readily under shear (such as brushing) yet which will not run (sag) when the shear is removed. Dyes thickened slightly with this product will not bleed through a paper towel. It keeps coatings on the surface of a substrate (minimal penetration).

    MaxxThix® MT-107

    MaxxThix® MT-107 is a highly effective methyl-based sodium polyacrylate gum thickener for use in a multitude of compounding arenas. This product is a versatile, effective and efficient aqueous polymer solution with unique rheological properties for a host of varying applications. Uses include primary and secondary thickening of coatings, adhesives, grouts, dispersions, suspensions; thickening of liquid solutions applied by spray methods; and as protective colloids and particle coatings in specialty products.

    MaxxLink® AZC

    MaxxLink® AZC is a formaldehyde-free crosslinker or insolubilizer for coatings based on latex or protein binders. It reacts rapidly during the process as water is removed from the coating and curing is complete. The curing is fast under alkaline conditions with no need for elevated temperatures resulting in excellent wet rub and crock properties.

    MaxxLink® DP-83

    MaxxLink® DP-83 is a highly-concentrated thermosetting reactant providing durable wrinkle-free performance to cellulosic-containing fabrics. It is a DMDHEU product designed to impart whiskers and other special effects on denim in addition to providing durable press and shrinkage control to cotton-containing fabrics when applied properly. It is chlorine resistant with extremely low formaldehyde levels on cured fabrics. It is also scorch and chlorine resistant to commercial launderings with minimum effect on shade, and is easily cured with magnesium-based catalysts.
